Kids Count Too, Inc., was established to provide foster care services to the Northwest OH Region. We are a private, non-profit foster care agency that provides foster homes for children who may otherwise be placed in a group home or institutional situation. Homes are provided for children who, for some reason, cannot live with their families. Kids Count Too, Inc., has a qualified staff and licensed foster parents that provide broad services to all children, regardless of sex, race, creed or handicap.
Located in the Bowling Green, OH area, our Agency specializes in all levels of foster care from traditional to intensive foster care services. In addition, we provide respite and emergency placement services.
There are four main goals that Kids Count Too, Inc., strives to achieve with our foster children.
» To stabilize the child, both mentally and physically.
» To provide a prejudice free education, socially and racially.
» To ensure the health conditions both food and physical, are
maintained at a high standard.
» To ensure that the foster child leaves our foster homes better
off than they arrived, mentally, socially and physically
Services Provided to Foster Parents
Kids Count Too, Inc., will provide, at a minimum, the following services to its foster parents:
» Traditional to treatment foster homes
» Support
» Weekly visit with caseworker
» Ongoing training hours
» Childcare provided during training sessions
» Aid with the transportation for the foster youth
» Aid with enrolling in school
» Aid with medical appointments, if needed
» Aid with enrolling in counseling (if applicable)
» 24/7 availability
» Treatment goals
» Quarterly treatment team meetings
» Activities and interaction
» Aid in respite needs
Caseworkers hired by Kids Count Too, Inc., assure a child is carefully matched with the best available foster parents. The caseworkers evaluate a child's needs based on past environment, a physical condition, hobbies, behavioral and family expectations.
Kids Count Too, Inc., is licensed in the State of Ohio with the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. Affiliations with other groups allow us to provide an even larger range of services.
